These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Big Beautiful Budget (“the Service”), operated by Big Beautiful Budget (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Big Beautiful Budget is a web-based budgeting tool that allows you to create accounts, schedule transactions, and forecast future balances. The Service is intended for personal budgeting and educational purposes only.

The Service does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. You should consult qualified professionals for decisions regarding your finances, taxes, or legal obligations. We are not a bank, financial institution, or registered financial advisor.

2. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Not enter sensitive financial identifiers such as bank account numbers, routing numbers, Social Security numbers, or similar information into the Service. Use short nicknames (e.g., “Main Checking”) to label your accounts.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or the systems and networks connected to the Service.
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.

3. Subscription and Billing

Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. All billing is handled through Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis according to the subscription plan you choose. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Service or your Stripe customer portal.

We do not store your credit or debit card numbers. All payment information is transmitted directly to and processed by Stripe.

4. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

• Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service. Downtime may occur for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
• Accuracy: While we strive to ensure the Service performs calculations correctly, we do not guarantee the accuracy of forecasts, balances, or any other output. You are responsible for verifying any information against your actual financial records.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Big Beautiful Budget and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect user data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. Despite industry-standard safeguards, unauthorized access, data breaches, or other security incidents may occur. We are not liable for damages resulting from any such incident beyond what is required by applicable law.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or engaged in conduct that is harmful to other users or the integrity of the Service. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Service settings.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms within the application. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Tennessee.
